Rachel McKinnell was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, where her passion for dance began at Revolution Dance Center at just three years old. Over time, she not only developed her artistry there but also discovered her love for teaching, sharing the same dedication and enthusiasm that shaped her early years.

Rachel expanded her training through LA Dance Magic, one of the industry’s leading convention programs. During her three years with the organization, she had the opportunity to train and assist renowned choreographers, gaining invaluable experience and insight into the professional dance world. Her performance credits include appearing in Fiona Grey’s music video for “You Are Loved” and being featured on the SHEIS platform in “Within These Four Walls,” a powerful piece choreographed by Fred Diaz.

Rachel has also been a dedicated member of the Los Angeles Jazz Company for the past three years, performing with the company since its debut production. Beyond the stage, she has contributed creatively through graphic design—developing the company’s website and producing visual materials for its concerts, The Time is Now and It’s Jazz Baby. She takes pride in having made a meaningful impact both as a performer and as a creative collaborator.

In addition to dance, Rachel has continued to grow her skills in graphic design, currently creating content for LA Dance Magic. Having recently relocated to New York City, she is eager to immerse herself in its dynamic arts scene, build new creative connections, and pursue opportunities that bridge both dance and design in one of the world’s leading cultural hubs.
