Rachel McKinnell was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, where her love for dance blossomed at Revolution Dance Center from the age of three. Over the years, Rachel not only trained there but also found her calling as a teacher, sharing the same passion and dedication that shaped her own upbringing.

Rachel took her talent to new heights by participating in LA Dance Magic, one of the top convention company programs, where she spent three years training and assisting some of the industry's leading choreographers. This invaluable experience allowed her to deepen her craft and gain insight from some of the best in the business. Her performance credits include appearing in Fiona Grey’s music video for “You Are Loved” and being featured on the SHEIS website in a meaningful video titled “Within These Four Walls,” choreographed by Fred Diaz.

Rachel has also been a member of the Los Angeles Jazz Company for the past three years and has been part of the company since its debut show. In addition to performing, she has contributed creatively through graphic design, creating the company’s website as well as graphics and programs for both of the company’s concerts, The Time is Now and It’s Jazz Baby. She is honored to leave her mark on the organization both on stage and behind the scenes.

Rachel has also expanded her creative work into graphic design. She currently creates graphic content for LA Dance Magic and is excited to continue growing her passion for design and creativity in this new chapter of her life. Rachel recently relocated to New York City and looks forward to pursuing opportunities in both dance and creative media while contributing to the vibrant arts community.
