Maya Palmer is originally from Brownsburg, Indiana. She grew up training at Expressenz Dance Center for 10 years in various styles of dance. She had her first professional dance job in 2018 when she competed on NBC’s World Of Dance Season 2 with Expressenz. She also performed as a featured dancer in the 2019 season of Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra’s Yuletide. Maya then went on to attend Chapman University. She received a BFA in Dance Performance and a minor in Business Entrepreneurship. Maya performed in various concerts during her time at Chapman University including working as a rehearsal assistant and dancer for Dwight Roden’s “Here We Are”. Maya graduated Chapman in May of 2024 and moved to Los Angeles. She has since signed with Go2Talent Agency and has kickstarted her career in dance. She became an official member of the Los Angeles Jazz Company in 2025.
